At Crework Tech, we understand that business priorities change. This policy explains how you can cancel our services, the applicable notice periods, and any financial implications.
Before Cancelling: If you're unhappy with any aspect of our service, please talk to us first. We'll do our best to address your concerns and find a solution that works for both parties.
Project-Based Work
For one-time projects like website development, web applications and graphic design:
- Before work begins: You may cancel freely. The advance payment will be refunded minus a 10% administrative fee.
- After work has started: Cancellation is allowed, but you will be billed for the work completed up to the cancellation date. Any advance paid will be adjusted accordingly.
- After final delivery: Cancellation is not applicable once the deliverables have been handed over and approved.
Important: Any third-party purchases made on your behalf (domain, hosting, plugins, themes) cannot be cancelled or reversed by Crework Tech.
Monthly Retainer Services
For ongoing services such as SEO, digital marketing, social media management and website maintenance:
- You may cancel your monthly retainer at any time after the minimum engagement period (typically 3 months).
- Cancellation within the minimum engagement period may result in an early termination fee equivalent to 1 month's retainer.
- The current month's retainer is non-refundable once the billing cycle has started.
- All work in progress will be completed and delivered for the paid period.
Notice Period
- Monthly retainers: A minimum of 15 days' written notice before the next billing cycle is required.
- Project-based work: Cancellation should be communicated via email as soon as possible.
- All cancellation requests must be sent in writing to info@creworktech.in.
- Verbal or WhatsApp cancellations are not considered valid for record purposes — a formal email is required.
Consequences of Cancellation
Upon cancellation of services:
- Website projects: Partially completed work files will be shared. However, source code for unfinished modules may not be provided.
- SEO services: All on-site optimisations done remain on your website. Ongoing link building and content marketing will stop.
- Ad campaigns: Campaigns will be paused. You retain access to your own ad accounts.
- Social media: Scheduled posts will be cancelled. You retain full access to your social media accounts.
- Design files: Completed and approved designs will be handed over. Unapproved concepts remain with Crework Tech.
Mutual Termination
Either party may terminate the engagement if:
- There is a breach of the agreed terms of service by either party.
- Mutual agreement is reached that the engagement is no longer beneficial.
- Payment is overdue by more than 30 days despite reminders (termination by Crework Tech).
In case of mutual termination, all completed work will be delivered and any outstanding dues will be settled amicably.
